The Tower Houses

The Tower Houses are located in an ideal, tranquil spot among the gentle Cortona hills. Cortona town centre is only 500m walk through the park ‘Il Parterre’, with Bramasole the same distance in the opposite direction. The houses offer a superb view over the Chiana valley and surrounding hills, as far as Lake Trasimeno to the east and Montepulciano to the west.

The panorama from the windows and gardens changes colour with the seasons: the intense green of springtime, the yellow of the summer cornfields, the red-gold of autumn and the white of winter snow.

The accommodation comprises two completely renovated stone houses with original wood-beamed ceilings and Tuscan terracotta tiled floors.

They are surrounded by large gardens where the sun can be enjoyed almost all year round, and beyond, the estate’s eight hectares of olive trees and woods offer the chance to rediscover nature on relaxing, peaceful walks. A short stroll along the Viale del Parterre in the public park leads to the centre of town, and equally close by, along Viale Passerini, is Bramasole and the ancient hamlet of Torreone, near to the town’s Medici ‘Girifalco’ fortress.

The owners, farmers and shepherds for four generations, live on the family farm in the Chiana valley a few killometres away, where guests are invited to taste the farm’s products: olive oil, wine, vin santo, pecorino cheese etc.
